Full-stack developer · React, Next.js and WordPress
Sr QA Engineer at Engenia Technologies
I'm a full-stack developer who ships. I build with React, Next.js and TypeScript backed by Firebase and MongoDB: the company website at Engenia, this site and side projects in daily use. My latest is Update Guardian, a WordPress plugin with a Node.js service behind it, live on WordPress.org. More than a decade in software quality means I catch the problems before they ship.
My journey
I started in software more than a decade ago, testing other people's code. Finding bugs, running sign-offs, breaking things on purpose. I got good at seeing how software fails.
Somewhere along the way I started building my own. A journal app. A meds tracker for my parents. A finance tracker I still use every month. Small things, but real, and the people I love actually use them.
The more I built, the clearer it got. I enjoy making things more than testing them.
So I taught myself React, then Next.js. I built this site from scratch. No template, no page builder. The testing years weren't wasted. They are why I build for the ways things break from the start.

All projects →Update Guardian — WordPress plugin
A plugin that catches what updates break: it snapshots your key pages while the site is healthy, re-checks them after every plugin, theme or core update and reports broken pages, layout shifts and silently missing features. Published on WordPress.org, backed by a Node.js and Playwright detection service with paid plans through Freemius.
This site — portfolio with CMS
Next.js and Payload CMS on MongoDB with public/private notes behind owner login. Deployed on Vercel, redeployed on every push.
Habits & Focus Tracker
An owner-only productivity suite inside this site: a custom habit tracker with streaks and history, plus a Focus workspace pairing a to-do list with a cross-device-synced Pomodoro — right-click a task to start a session on it. Feeds a daily digest email and evening reminders.
Personal Relationship Manager
A private CRM for personal life: built in Next.js and MongoDB with password-protected access, organizing 1,000+ contacts and the history of interactions with each.
Finance Tracker
Personal finance and expense tracker: log income and spending by category, track balances over time and get a clear monthly picture.
Meds Tracker
Family medicine and prescription organizer with uploads and reminders, deployed on Firebase and in daily use.
Pocket of Joy
A gratitude and focus app: a joy journal, a drag-and-drop task list with right-click actions and a Pomodoro timer linked to tasks. Deployed on Firebase and in daily use.
Journal
A minimalist private journaling app: markdown entries, password-protected access, offline-first with secure sync to GitHub Gists.
